In occupation

The following universities are currently being occupied (please let us know if our list is out of date). It would be worth paying a visit to any occupations in your area, and certainly sending messages of solidarity. And students, several of these occupations have issued calls for you to follow their example in other universities!

  1. Tom Long. Occupied England says:

England is IN OCCUPATION by a BRITISH government that imposes England only taxes like Tuition Fees whilst giving the Scots and Welsh more money per head so that they can afford to provide uni education for free ( and prescriptions, cancer drugs etc )

Call for an English Parliament in lieu of our SHITISH government.

  2. Ashton says:

Ottawa University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada organized a solidarity action on November 24th 2010. Student and community members occupied the offices of the University President, while others controlled the lobby of the same building.

Solidarity to all the students who walked out on Wed and those who are now occupying. We trade unionists in Higher Ed are cheering you on and feel utterly inspired by your actions.

Keep it up, until you bring them down!
