Emergency Protest: 5pm at the House of Lords

This evening the tuition fees bill will be debated in the House of Lords. What happens here could determine how quickly the bill will be returned to the Commons, and thus how quickly higher fees could become a reality. Students from a number of the recently-suspended university occupations in Central London will be protesting outside and we encourage all Education Activist Network supporters in London to join them.

Meet 5pm TODAY outside the House of Lords.

Other events today include:

  • Kettle the Police protest against police brutality called by the Friends of Alfie Meadows, starts 1pm, Scotland Yard
  • Open planning meeting for a national assembly, 6pm LSESU Quad, Houghton St (off Kingsway)
