Corrupt politician Uribe Velez speaks at LSE: COME TO THE PROTEST!!

Today 23rd. May, 5pm, HOUGHTON STREET, LSE

Uribe Velez, former president of Colombia is attending LSE to speak about the ‘Three pillars of Colombia’s recent process’.

– However during the Uribe years 565 trade unionists, and aproximately 1,400 indigenous people were assassinated by the state. There were over 3000 such extra-judicial killings by the official state ‘security forces’

– Rural farmers and indigenous African-Colombians were displaced and unrecognized by official agencies – left abandoned by the state

– Paramilitary front men occupied 1/3 of all congress seats during the ‘para-politica’ scandal.

LSE by doing this are legitimizing this criminal, come and show you reject his dirty politics.

This protest has been called by the Colombia Solidarity Campaign amonst others
